The Senate of the Argentine Nation unanimously approved the new “Regime for the Promotion of the Knowledge Economy”, which grants the sector fiscal benefits for its development until 2030.
The Law establishes tax benefits to create employment, facilities for the formation of new companies, incentives for exports and a stability framework so that the productive poles that unite innovation, services and technological development continue to grow throughout the country.
This new regime will allow the creation of 215,000 new quality jobs, without the need for migration of professionals to large urban centers; and generate an additional $ 8.5 billion of annual exports in the next decade.
The president of the Nation assured:
“The approval of the Law of the Knowledge Economy is great news! Besides boosting the software industry, new sectors such as biotechnology, satellite development and robotics are added. It will double the employment of the sector to reach 350,000 employees.”
Argentina works with the view in the future for the development of technology and creative industries, on the way to Expo 2023.
